Rachael is an artist based in Santa Cruz, CA. Her work is about awe— sharing her infinite reverence for the natural world. Rachael primarily works in stone lithography, a form of fine art printmaking. The intentional, slow, and handmade process of her art is what makes it a special practice.

The imagery in her work is reflective of the land, flora, and fauna of Hawai'i and California. From remote coastlines on Moloka'i with forests of Kiawe where Axis deer run wild to the north coast of Santa Cruz where estuarine habitats are filled with biodiversity. Invasive, native, and naturalized species make up the landscapes and imagery that appears in her work.

Beside her artwork, Rachael works in coastal conservation, seeking to protect the places that have given her endless inspiration.
